When i was ignorant i had written k810 gdfs in k800 and now red light blinking. battery is full charged, i had written k800_GDFS ,K800_RED CID52 R3B025_EROM-FOTA_2007-07-24_1, MAIN and FS with setool but nothing not changed. i pressed unlock/repair and setool write "error".
I have noticed my last few recent Sony Ericsson phones have had a small red LED which only appears to be used as a low battery indicator. One thing i really appreciated on my Nokia e51 was the LED light that blinked when I had a missed call or new message. This saved me having to unlock my phone, turn my display on etc.. Why would Sony Ericsson not faciliate this with their existing LED lights?
Today I attempted an upgrade and when the sony ericsson completed my phone just didn't respond. All I now get is a red blinking light in the top right hand corner, notification? What has happened to cause this and can it be fixed?
X10 stuck at "sony ericsson" boot screen...Then it shows an image of camera with blue arrow down pointing phone... after it shows "Sony Ericsson" boot screen again, what follows black screen like being shut down. Looks like the battery consumption is increased, cause in couple of hours it starts beeping red light... Today is 4th day since it`s started.
i have just brought a sony ericsson vivaz phone, i cant seem to get the led light to turn off at the back can
I notice a flashing red light on the side of phone. I put the phone on charge seemed to be charging ok approx 5 hours later took it off charge. I used phone and noticed the battery indicator showing 1 red bar the phone bleeped low battery and turned off. I've done all normal trouble shooting tips still the same. I've bought original Sony Ericsson charger and battery that hasn't worked either.

I have been using W595 model phone last 5 months. When I was browsing yesterday, my phone has got restarted. After that I have been trying start my mobile but its not at all starting up. Only thing I can see is the logo of Sony Ericsson when we start the mobile, After then It is not at all starting up. But the key pad lights are blinking for every 30 secs.
The red light is keep on blinking ... And I am not able to start the phone ..... When I put my phone charging the red light appears and keep on blinking .... And it blinks when I remove the battery ..... I tooth my battery might be dead so I charge it from external source and put the battery back wide almost full power ....but its not working .
Ok so my phone started randomly beeping and the red indicator light won't stop blinking but there are no new msgs.
I have a red blinking light and phone will not turn on what do I do now....
First: I can't turn it on. When I press the on button my phone just vibrates (like those of the initial stage of turning on the phone) but there is no sony ericsson logo that appears and there's even no light in my keypads. Second: I can't charge. I plugged my phone in the USB charger and only one red blink of light appeared, this appears like in a span of every 20 secs plugged in and not the normal charging light for my phone. I tried cleaning the ports for the USB charger even my batteries but still it doesn't work.
i had my phone on the desk. and when i went to go grab it the phone seem to be off. and when i try to turn it on i just get a blinking red light. i tried plugging it in to see if maybe the battery died but nothing the phone just blinks a red light. i tried removing the battery and that doesnt do anything. what happend to my phone?
I need help switching on my Unlocked BB 8310 AT&T which I upgraded yesterday from 4.0.2 to 126.96.36.199. The phone would not switch on but the Red light keeps on blinking every 5 seconds, It has been like this for the past 3 days, This happened to me 2 days ago for a few hours, when finally the phone came on I had 6 unread SMS messages which were old messages. Now the phone wouldn't com on for almost 12 hours but the red light is still blinking.
I know Sony Ericsson will prepare the Satio update, becouse got announcement "Satio Update Information - We will let you know" and Satio is the first Sony Ericsson Entertainment Unlimited Series Smart Phone. I know Sony Ericsson will not give up Satio, But why Sony Ericsson always keep silent? Is Sony Ericsson got suprise to us?
I brought my Vivaz a while ago. The display somehow had a loose connection so it went back to the shop. A while later I got it back, but it started to do this annoying thing, not turning on and it went very slow, but I assume thats because the memory card was almost full. Well, now when I want to turn it on, the white "sony ericsson" screen comes up and a little vibration, and nothing more. When I set it to charge, the red light and the "sony ericsson" screen comes, but after a while I still cant turn it on. When I set it to my computer nothing happens but it "charges" again and the little charge icon never comes up when it charges either. Just the screen I have mentioned and the little red light in the side of the phone.
I currently have a Sony Ericsson k770i mobile phone. The mobile phone operator is network 3 (in UK). Current software version is: 1201-7587 R8BC004 071211. Can anyone tell me if this is latest software/firmware for the Sony Ericsson K770i mobile phone? What is the latest software/firmware for the Sony Ericsson k770i mobile phone and where can I download the firmware files from? Why is the Bluetooth phone name set as Generic A1 as default?

Sony Ericsson was planning a PSP phone but has been refused the brand Sony is understood to have refused to allow Sony Ericsson the use of its PlayStation brand, after the handset manufacturer presented a pitch to the board late last year.Sony Ericsson was planning to develop a PSP phone to capitalise on the growing success of the gaming sector, and after the success of Cyber-shot and Walkman handsets.Sources said the refusal to sanction the brand on the handsets in December has prompted a fallout between Sony and the mobile phone joint venture.Several sources close to the matter claimed Sony executives told colleagues at Sony Ericsson that it would only license the PlayStation brand if and when Sony makes handsets independently effectively pushing for an exit from the joint venture with Ericsson. It has been claimed by Sony Ericsson that Sony will only allow the use of its brand if the experience on a proposed handset is sufficiently high enough and matches the experience of Sonys standalone devices.A Sony Ericsson spokeswoman said the handset manufacturer could not comment on what Sony has or hasnt said. She added: In the past, we have been keen that our product proposition lives up to brand promise, and we feel at the moment the technical specs are not high enough to put such a prestigious brand on a phone. The handset manufacturer currently uses Sonys Walkman and Cyber-shot brands on its phones and the Bravia TV brand is available on mobile phones The Sony Ericsson spokeswoman said the manufacturer is continually reviewing launch plans and would look at Bravia and PlayStation in the future. The move comes at troubled times for Sony Ericsson, which is cutting costs as the economic slowdown bites. It will reveal realignment plans today (16 January), that will include a review of all of its operations. In the last quarter of 2008, Sony Ericsson put a push on reclaiming its customer debts, in a bid to claw back costs before the end of the year. It is understood that the manufacturer was offering incentives to operators for paying the outstanding debts.
Can anyone help me with this prob? My phone wont turn on. I've tried it so many times to turn it on but still, it remains the same. Red light blinking. What does it means?
I Have Sony Ericsson w610i about 2 years and before one week. It started stucking and I had to put of the battery and making reboot to be unstucked. I tried to update it with SE update service but it stuck in the middle of the update and after that it doesn't opens. Only a red light blinks. I checked the battery but it is ok. So as I searhed I found out that the problem is the EROM or GDFS. I am trying to repair it with flashing programs, but nothing. How can i fix it? When is it blinking, How long, and when does it not. Does the BBB9900 have an external antenna port so I can boost the reception ?
As the title says why do Sony Ericsson phones still have this problem and whats causing it? Its been happening for years now since the Walkman series began. I still love Sony Ericsson and their sound quality but i noticed with my w595 and c510 and other phones before it the still crackling noise when skipping or pausing tracks. Is there a way for the phone to have a reminder ring for the appointment at the reminder time?, Right now I have the red led blinking light and when I open the message there are options; Open: Dismiss :Snooze(5 min), when I click snooze, the phone return to the previous page and then 5 minutes later, it does the same thing.I would like to know if I can have it ring for the reminder because most of the time I have the phone at my belt and I don't see that blinking light unless I need to use the phone.
I have the 8320 and I'm going nuts about this blinking red light. The red light blinks when a message is received, fine. Ilike the light telling me that I have an unread message somewhere in the phone, whether it be a text email or messenger whatever. I've been noticing that sometimes the red light does not stop blinking, even after I have read and responded to the message and I've noticed that it almost always happens from black berry messenger or AIM. Like the phone still thinks the conversations are still open. The only solution for it is for me to take the battery out while the phone is on to reset it.
My Xperia X10 won't turn on only the red light is blinking

I can't help but pit phone vs phone here i love my Sony Ericsson i have a V640i wonderful phone all round however its just the short message tone alert see Motorola um lets use the Motorola V360v Vs Sony Ericsson V640i as examples see the Motorola V360v allows you to make all your contacts have different tones Sony too allows that i know but Motorola also allows you to assign your contacts with a different message tone for each contact Sony as far as i know doesn't unless is there a way? Also when someone sends you a message on the Motorola it plays the full track of the tone that's assigned & Sony doesn't Sony only plays 10secs of the tone I'm talking about full 3mins + MP3s here too so is it at all possible to make the MP3 play for the full tone on the Sony Ericsson?
